Last month, we put out a story detailing Netflix’s new comedy series, Grace and Frankie, which stars actresses Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin. Now Netflix has officially confirmed the release of the series, scheduling its first season for May 8.
Grace and Frankie features Fonda and Tomlin as a pair of women who must confront – and move past – the revelation that their husbands are gay. The recently-debuted trailer also reveals Law and Order veteran Sam Waterston, as well as Martin Sheen, and demonstrates some of the show’s age-related humor and risqué punch-lines. In spite of the emotional baggage attached to catastrophic relationship troubles, Grace and Frankie seems to be taking a decidedly tongue-in-cheek approach to the situation.
