NBC’s series Hannibal, which might be the biggest and best thing to hit the network in years, has quickly become one of television’s most-watched shows. While Hannibal was on Netflix in its entirety for most of 2014, it was removed in November. The latest episodes are still available at NBC, and all episodes are available on Amazon for free to Amazon Prime subscribers.
Hannibal examines the stories of Silence of the Lambs and the film Hannibal from a prequel’s point-of-view, focusing on the friendship between Dr. Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen) and FBI Investigator Will Graham (Hugh Dancy). The show has been hailed for its graphic depictions of violence, smart writing, and focus on character-driven tension and action. Most of its episodes take viewers through crime scenes and the work of brutal serial killers, and Hannibal spares no detail.
The series has been renewed for a third season, which will premiere in June of 2015. In time, it may return to Netflix in all of its bloody glory, but your best bet is to bookmark NBC’s streaming page for all of your Hannibal fixes.
