If iZombie is any indication, life after death is an action-packed affair. When Liv Moore – an up-and-coming medical resident played by Rose McIver – was infected by a zombie, she became Seattle’s newest undead investigator. Based on the DC Comics series of the same name, iZombie currently airs on The CW, and has nearly completed its first season run of seven episodes.
Unfortunately, iZombie is not available for Netflix streaming, and it’s unlikely to make any appearance before its first season is finished.
The upside of the situation is that the latest iZombie’s episodes can be streamed for free through The CW’s online hub. Full episodes (and the full season, once it’s out) can also be purchased on Amazon instant video. There’s also a free “iZombie: On the Set” video that offers a short behind-the-scenes look at the show’s production.
Like Supernatural and other CW properties, iZombie may eventually end up on Netflix’s streaming service. There’s typically a delay in the online migration process, however. Once its first season has finished and enjoyed a healthy stay on The CW’s proprietary streaming service, it may very well end up being exported for the Netflix crowd.
